2011 Peugeot Ion
Officially Peugeot began to producing electric cars, ion. Cars similar to Mitsubishi i-MiEV and Citroen C-Zero is the result of collaboration in the Frankfurt Motor Show 2009 event. Among the three cars, the ions become the cheapest with a price of 29 950 euros.
This vehicle mounted with electric motor-powered 64 hp with peak torque at 180 Nm. Battery power source were taken from 16 kWh lithium-ion battery. To fully charge the battery, it takes six hours from a standard 220 volt electrical source. By using a rapid charger, charging up to 80 percent can be done in just 30 minutes.
With a fully charged battery, city car 1120 kg can be a distance of 150 km. Acceleration up to 100 kpj achieved in 15.9 seconds with a top speed of 130 kpj.
With a variety of standard features, aluminum alloy wheels, power steering, fog lights, automatic headlights, Daytime lights, central lock with remote, distance recorder computer and audio system with CD, MP3, Bluetooth, and USB connections.
