Five-Star Note For Citroen C4,Honda CR-Z,Suzuki Swift, Hyundai-ix35

Euro NCAP recently revealed plans for the imminent introduction of another scheme called Advanced NCAP, whose task will be closer to potential customers the advantages offered by advanced systems for more secure (for example, fast warning about the sudden exit of the lane of the road, the system signaling the emergence of another vehicle in the driver’s blind spot whether the automatic braking in case of imminent danger of accident).

Representatives of the Euro NCAP count on is that the new program, customers will gain valuable knowledge about the benefits offered by different technologies, and will be able to meet the producers who are doing work on the most advanced security technologies. On the other companies will be more motivated to a broader introduction to the range of solutions that can now occur only in higher segment models.

The first fruits of Euro NCAP’s new program will be announced in October.

Here’s the latest crash test results which were published by the prestigious Euro NCAP organization. This time, four additional models were tested, all of whom gained valuable 5-star note.

Citroen C4

- Assessment of the total: 5 stars

- The safety of adult passengers: 90%

- Child occupant safety: 85%

- Pedestrian safety in a collision with the car: 43%

- Evaluation of active / passive safety systems: 97%

Honda CR-Z

- Assessment of the total: 5 stars

- The safety of adult passengers: 93%

- Child occupant safety: 80%

- Pedestrian safety in a collision with the car: 71%

- Evaluation of active / passive safety systems: 86%

Hyundai ix35

- Assessment of the total: 5 stars

- The safety of adult passengers: 90%

- Child occupant safety: 88%

- Pedestrian safety in a collision with the car: 54%

- Evaluation of active / passive safety systems: 71%

Suzuki Swift

- Assessment of the total: 5 stars

- The safety of adult passengers: 94%

- Child occupant safety: 82%

- Pedestrian safety in a collision with the car: 62%

- Evaluation of active / passive safety systems: 71%
